Common name: Australian Red Centre Lime Botanical name: Citrus Australasica x. Red Centre Lime This variety was developed by the CSIRO. A very sought after fruit tree that produces a tangy fruit that is full of flavour and packs a punch. It can be eaten straight from the tree including skin but often used in jam making, great over fresh oysters or in alcoholic/non alcoholic beverages. They can also be used in stir fries, sauces or even over some nice fresh baked fish.
