Alpinia Zerumbet Variegata is a great native, subtropical ornamental ginger that grows to approximately 2 metres. It prefers full sun to part shade and is a fast grower. They are best planted with other tropicals such as heliconias, gingers, philodendrons, cordylines, crotons and palms. Its vibrant green, gold / yellow foliage makes it ideal if you are wanting to add a pop of colour to your tropical paradise.
