Heliconia Rauliniana is an upright, tight clumping, fast growing variety of heliconia that grows approximately 4.5 to 5.5 meters tall, is often used to provide a lush screen from your neighbours and is considered the best heliconia for narrow garden beds. They love full sun to 30% shade and look great in creating a sub tropical look and feel in your garden. Heliconia Rauliniana are often planted with other tropical plants including Palms, Cordylines, Crotons, Philodendrons and Gingers. Heliconia Rauliniana flowers with rich red and yellow bracts and is often used for large cut flower arrangements.
